we all know that the governing body claim to be "god's representatives" and the "faithful and discreet slave" that dispenses spiritual food..... but where is the proof?.
according to the bible (if we just for a moment take it as a reliable source), all of god's representatives in the past furnished proof of their appointment - not just self referential claims or statements.. for instance, moses and aaron performed miracles before pharaoh (such as the snake staffs.).
other prophets performed signs and miracles such as making the sun stand still, healing sick people, making walls fall down, etc etc.... even jesus performed miracles as proof of his divine appointment!.
When psychopaths speak... They demand to be listened to.
They trade in lies and manipulation. They will say whatever they feel they need to say to stay in control and power over others. They will never ever say they are wrong, even when it is in front of them in black and white.
They cannot be trusted.
They are evil.
The 7 of them in New York have played the game to their advantage. They lord it over the flock.
They are sick and are sickening.

most jws i know claim they are happy being in the great crowd.
they'd rather live on a paradise earth and pet lions than go to heaven.. heaven is a place they can't relate to, a place where they don't expect their friends and loved ones to be.. so why are more and more jws claiming to be of the anointed?.
aren't they looked down upon as if they are crazy, proud, ignorant, or engaging in apostate thinking?.

Adults don't believe in Santa Claus... But will believe some psychopathic men in New York tell them if they jump threw all of these hoops for them... They will gua-ran-tee you are going to live for-ever (which no one does) on a beautiful earth AND... people line up to jump threw those hoops! Really quite amazing just how naive humans can be.
AND, in this same package of supposed delights... If you really want to appear extra Holy, tell them God told you he has a special seat in heaven waiting just for you! Now that should get you special treatment at the kingdom hall. Once a year you get to eat 1 cent worth of dry crackers and a 25 cent sip of red wine.
Some people will do anything for attention AND a free lunch. lol
just wanted to share with you some good news i'm really excited about.
i have been accepted for university to study psychology and counseling.
my goal is to become a counselor and, in time, to specialize on treating those who have left high control relationships/groups like we all did.. it'll take a few years before im qualified but studying in university has been a dream of mine since i was 12, which was systematically dashed to pieces by watchtower.. .

i heard this expression very often and even said it often myself.
now that i am out, i realize this isn't always the case.
there were many times i was going out in service saturday morning and couldn't wait for 12:00 to come along so that we could go swimming, bicycling, play basket ball, go to the beach... .

i mailed the below letter to my mother a few weeks ago.
i did share it on the ex-jw facebook group but thought i'd post it here.. basically, she's shunned me since day 1, has little or nothing to do with my 3yo daughter and told my sister "i hope <my daughter> becomes a jw when she's older so i can welcome her into the family".
well, that was the last straw for me..

i remember one of the nights that i found out the truth wasn't the truth, that is after finding out about the united nations, i remember riding my bicycle from like 1am till 5am in the city night.
it was rather chilly, maybe about 55-60 degrees and i was playing pink floyd's dark side of the moon album in my earbuds.
just riding and riding, not really tiring because of the thought that 7 men in brooklyn had duped me, duped me for like 20 plus years.
It is shocking. It is devastating when it hits us. What??? I have been lied to my entire life??? All major decisions were based on the whims of uneducated men in Brooklyn? Oops. Was I really that naive to sacrifice my whole life to the illogical thoughts of strangers?
